ManpowerGroup has recently released its Employment Outlook Survey for the first quarter of 2024. The survey draws on data from 40,000 employers across 41 countries.
According to the survey, global talent shortages are expected to remain elevated in 2024, with 3 in 4 companies reporting difficulty in finding the talent they need when asked about the outlook for the first quarter of 2024. This is slightly down from 77% in 2023, yet significantly higher than previous years.
According to the survey, the three main strategies businesses employ to find, attract and recruit talent are: more work flexibility (65% of employers), raising wages (30%) and looking at new talent pools (28%).
