Amidst a challenging global economic landscape in 2023, Asia and the Pacific are anticipated to be the most dynamic economic regions among the world’s major areas in 2023, primarily driven by the strong outlook for China and India. The IMF projects the region’s growth to increase to 4.6 percent, up from 3.8 in 2022.
According to the IMF, China and India are expected to contribute around 50% of global economic growth this year, while the rest of Asia and Pacific will add an additional 20%.
